Affiliate Disclosure

How this site is funded, in plain English — and the promise that it never bends our recommendations.

Kitchen & Court is free to read. It stays that way because some of the links to products on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid anyway.

Amazon Associates

Kitchen & Court is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon is our default retailer, and most of the buy links on this site point there.

How our links work

When you click a “View on Amazon” or “Check price” button, it passes through a simple internal redirect (you’ll see /go/in the address for a moment) that adds our Amazon Associates tag and sends you to the product page. That’s all it does — it doesn’t change the price, track anything about you beyond the click, or affect what you see on Amazon. We use it so that if we ever switch a link to a different retailer, we can do it in one place instead of editing every article.

Why it doesn’t change our picks

This is the part that matters. Earning a commission never decides which product we recommend, or how we rank it.The reasoning behind a pick is identical whether the link earns us anything or not. Where a cheaper product is the better buy, it wins — even when a pricier option would pay us more. And we tell you plainly, on every list, when to skip a product. If commission were steering our recommendations, we wouldn’t have a “skip this if” section on every single review.

Prices and availability

Prices come from a live, daily check and carry the date they were pulled. They still change constantly, and a product can go in and out of stock. Always confirm the current price and availability on the retailer’s own page before you buy — the number on our site is a recent snapshot, not a guarantee. When we can’t verify a current price, we show “Check price” rather than a stale number.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t take payment from brands for placement or for a better ranking.
  • We don’t publish sponsored “reviews” dressed up as editorial.
  • We don’t invent reviews, ratings or testing claims to sell more.
